Starting out can be a tough space to navigate. In this hui you will build connections with other new educators in your rohe, and wānanga together; gaining insight and knowledge to be a confident teacher.
We will cover:
- Whakawhanaungatanga – building connections with colleagues, tamariki and whānau
- Positive guidance/behaviour management stragegies
- Differential learning strategies
- How to make the most of your classroom release time
- Streamlining the induction and mentoring process (how to make the most of your time with your mentor)
- Understanding evidence for your provisional registration
- Q&A
This is during work hours, so please ensure you discuss this with your senior leadership team.

Call me when you arrive on 0272131112 so I can buzz you in. The driveway is between building 101 and 103. Drive to the bottom of the driveway and stop at the last scanner where I will buzz you in.
