Your union, NZEI Te Riu Roa, is hosting a webinar with experts Jenny Ritchie and Ed Miller to explore the ways for-profit providers generate wealth, the links between ECE and addressing child poverty and the fight for high quality early childhood education sector that holds children at it’s heart.
Dr Jenny Ritchie
Dr Jenny Ritchie is an Associate Professor in Te Puna Akopai, the School of Education, at Te Herenga Waka Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand. Her research and teaching focus on social, cultural, and ecological justice in early childhood care and education.
Ed Miller
Edward is a researcher based in Aotearoa New Zealand. He has spent more than a decade working in the labour movement. He and has been active in struggles for labour and human rights, trade justice, public ownership and a just transition.
