ECECA Day of Action – Palmerston North

2.30pm Gather at the Square and Main Street roundabout next to Verdict Café for a demonstration and speeches.

This is historic action and represents the first time Early Childhood Education Collective Agreement (ECECA) kaimahi have taken this kind of action together.

We are calling on the government to commit to:
– Additional funding to support full pay parity.
– A funding system that supports and encourages high quality ECE.
– Improved teacher: child ratios.
We want to ensure the ECECA remains as the ‘gold standard’ for employer-employee relations and the high-quality provision of ECE in Aotearoa.
