North Shore - Stand up for ECE!

For tamariki to have the best start in life they need great foundations and the best possible beginning to their education journey. That’s why teachers, parents, whanau and communities fought for two decades to win respect, recognition and pay parity for teachers in early childhood education. Unfortunately, all that is currently threatened, and community based ECE is facing huge challenges to survive and thrive.
That's why we're hosting a public meeting centred on early childhood education within our electorate. This gathering, co-hosted by dedicated teachers/kaiako, support staff/kaiawhina, parents, and whānau, aims to address pressing issues and advocate for necessary improvements in the sphere of early childhood education. Please join us to hear from ECE kaiako and support our call!
