2024 is a big year for members covered by these two collective agreements.
Renegotiation of the collective agreements is due in term four, and we’re pushing to progress the work we started with the first pay equity settlements for each group.
We anticipate we will need to campaign hard to persuade the Government to provide decent funding to support this work!
Our big focus in term one is growing our membership and creating opportunities for members to discuss and provide feedback that will help shape the campaign. Both are important tools when building campaign power! We are strongest when we act collectively.
