Bay Of Islands Worksite Rep Training for Support Staff Reps

At your Support Staff Worksite Rep training days, support staff reps will meet other reps from local schools, learn about the benefits of being part of a strong collective group, contribute to discussions around the current issues affecting their sector, and develop a collective plan of action alongside your colleagues.
Here is a quick outline of some of the exciting things we will be doing:
• Get support and information to help them be a great support staff worksite rep.
• Find out what is planned for NZEI Te Riu Roa campaigns and how they can get more involved.
• Meet all the other support staff worksite reps in their branch area.
• To feedback to their staff about what they have learnt.
If you are unable to attend, please shoulder tap a replacement.
Note: As a union member you are entitled to paid Employment Relations Education Leave (EREL) to attend this training. You will need to talk to your employer about attending this training day and to let them know it’s covered by Employment Relations Education Leave (EREL) under the Employment Relations Act 2000. A template is available for this. Please talk with your field officer if you require more information.
