This plenary will begin by unpacking the neuroscience of childhood stress, trauma and anxiety.

And then:

When the educators change: everything changes.
How regulated adult nervous systems can change a child's behaviour. 

We can make a positive difference in the lives of the tamariki we work with because of our interactions, because of our relationships, and because we care. 

Kathryn has her Masters in Educational Psychology, and has certified as a Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics practitioner and has extensive experience in this area. She has worked and trained, nationally and internationally, on the subject of neuroscience for over fifteen years.

The Mana Branch of NZEI Te Riu Roa are proud to be organising this free event for members.
