Professional Growth Cycle Workshop

The Mana Branch of NZEI Te Riu Roa have invited Christina Thornley from the Teaching Council to update members on the shift from the teacher appraisal process to the professional growth cycle and what this means for teachers, schools and centres.

This session will cover the key changes that have been made in the shift from appraisal to the professional growth cycle. As part of that, the elements will be unpacked.

Ways of developing a professional growth cycle will be presented, including ideas for anyone whose setting has barely started and ideas for anyone thinking about refinements to help their design reach the desired outcomes.

The branch will provide an afternoon tea from 3:30 and please arrive by 4pm for the workshop.
