Rodney Otamatea Branch Joint PPTA/NZEI Strike Action Plan March 16

10.00 am: Meet up at 10:00 am at Warkworth School. There is parking at the school and along Hill Road

10.20 am: We will head towards Whittaker Road and meet up with PPTA members from Mahurangi College and head towards the Town Hall

10.45 ish am:  We will have an informal gathering (outside if weather permits) or in the hall itself. We have speakers lined up representing the various Collective Agreements, and time for people who wish to speak and share.

 We will conclude business at around 11.45 am.

Preparation

 This will be an all weathers event, so please bring

-water/raincoat/sunscreen/comfy walking shoes

-Wear whatever colours best represents you or your school

-Have fun making some banners/placards for our walk (You can find resources for the strike here: https://www.nzeiteriuroa.org.nz/help-advice/knowledge-base/strike-2023)

-For anyone who may find the walk difficult, we will meet down at the Town Hall

The branch will reimburse your mileage travelled from your school to be here provided you carpool with others. A mileage reimbursement form will be sent out on request from: [email protected]
