This event is for NZEI Te Riu Roa teachers and principals and supporters based in Te Rohe o Te Waiariki -BOP to call on government to take action to get behind educators so they can better support the tamariki they teach. Please see the strike plan below for your local area:

Whanau Picnic: Community Event

• Meet at the Taupo Community Park- Speaker Group photo’s, sign posters/postcards,
10:00am
• Hikoi - Through town centre to the town park
11:00am
•Meet at town park-bring a picnic, enjoy activities, music and much more.

Please bring placards, signs, chants, music. Wear GREEN and weather appropriate gear. Remember to share lots of videos, live's, and photos via social media. NZEI Te Riu Roa members attending will be updated if there are any changes Feel free to invite whanau along to support.
