Intermediate Module 2

All worksite representatives are welcome to register for this course regardless of member branch. Please note this course is Module Two and only worksite representatives who have completed Module One are eligible to attend.

 NZEI Te Riu Roa believes that if we have organised workplaces, we can have a vibrant, well-resourced public education system in Aotearoa, an education system where all tamariki can reach their full potential. To achieve this, we need a strong foundation of trained worksite representatives. 

 

Worksite Representative training Tuarua is for worksite representatives who want to work with their colleagues to build kotahitanga in their workplace. Tuarua will deepen your knowledge of workplace organising and empower you to organise your members and colleagues. You’ll learn how you and your colleagues can do things differently to build the power you need to create the change you want. You'll learn more about the relationship between employers, employees and unions. 

 

After training you should be able to

At the beginning of the day, there will be some time for you to introduce yourself, talk about your role and what you enjoy most about your job. We would love to learn a little more about you. You are welcome to include your Pepeha/Mihi.


  **Please note that only the first 20 members to register will be able to attend. The last day to register for this hui will be Wednesday 12th March, 2025. You and your employer will be sent an email confirming your registration.**
